You may want to set aside the "USBMap" directory for future use if you change which ports you want working. Finally, move the resulting USBMap.kext to the EFI->OC->Kexts directory. Each port has a comment identifying it on the motherboard. Each SS port removed must have its corresponding HS port removed. If you start with the All Ports file, edit its plist by using Show Package Contents and editing Contents -> ist. From that directory, copy either the "USBMap InUse.kext" file or "USBMap All Ports.kext" file to "USBMap.kext". In the EFI directory is an extra directory "USBMap". Select the USB ports you want to use per the information below. You will have to make assorted edits before using the EFI directory: Also, the PCIe slots are laid out so that with a 2+ slot video card installed, the 3 remaining PCIe slots are all usable, allowing maximum expansion. I chose this motherboard because it is one that is a middle ground unit, it is modern in that it only has USB and SATA ports (no serial/COM/PS-2 nor PATA) but also does not have built-in WiFi or Thunderbolt requiring them to be disabled.

Also during the initial install with the starting OpenCore configuration, only the Display Port furthest from the MB worked. These are the White, Blue above the White or Red ports. In order for handoff to USB device during macOS install to work, the USB drive (and Keyboard) must be plugged into one of the back panel USB 3 ports that is early in the sequence of ports. I built a USBMap.kext for my use and am including one with all ports mapped that can be edited to your preference. I followed the OpenCore guide using pre-build DSDTs and configurations where possible. The initial ratings screen for whatever is selected displays, then the window closes.

I am posting this as an update for those of you using this setup. However, I have not had time to test this and although I intended to test macOS Monterey with this, that may now be weeks away at this point due to demands on my time. As an FYI, there is now a setting in OpenCore to allow Resizable BAR to be enabled in the BIOS and have set that setting so it should work. This has been my setup for the past week and there have been no issues with it. I have updated OpenCore to 0.7.9 and refreshed all of the Kexts as of mid March 2022. I have updated the BIOS settings to reflect this. It includes Resizable BAR support, which must be Disabled in order for MacOS to boot. I have updated to the F6c BIOS for this board. Other than the fixed auto negotiation, there are no obvious functional changes. The EFI attachment contains the revised OC 0.7.0 and Kexts. If you jump from OC 0.6.3 to 0.7.0 as I did, you must update the bootstrap NVRAM setting as described in Updating Bootstrap in 0.6.6 in the Dortania guide. For my network (100 Base-T) the revised LucyRTL8125Ethernet kext did fix Ethernet auto negotiation which should enable Ethernet during the install. I have updated OpenCore to 0.7.0 and refreshed all of the Kexts as of mid June 2021. This uses the iMac20,2 SMBIOS definition. This is an OpenCore 0.6.3 setup as that was current when I set this up.
